FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is a clay cooker?
A: A clay cooker is a single vessel that can serve as a vegetable steamer, stew pot, soup kettle, fish poacher, brick oven and roaster. Clay is a porous material which, when saturated with water and heated in an oven, provides slow evaporation of steam from the pores. This creates a moist, enclosed environment that results in increased flavor, very tender meats and healthier foods. Clay pots require less fat, use less liquid (which means less nutrient loss), require little tending and can even brown meats. Once you experience the advantages of a clay cooker you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. Our Romertopf Clay Bakers are one of the industry leaders in quality.
Q: Do I have to buy in quantity to receive a discount?
A: The Cooking Suite follows the Wal-Mart example by offering Everyday Low Prices. Our wholesalers and drop shippers are hand picked by us because they carry quality products at affordable prices. We study the on-line market consistently to be sure our pricing is not just competitive, but lower. You receive a discount whether you buy a single item or multiple items.
Q: How much do I pay for shipping?
A: Absolutely $0.00. The biggest shock for most on-line shoppers is when they get to the checkout and discover that shipping costs are sometimes higher than the item itself. Our principle is to please you from selection through checkout.
Q: What advantages do I receive buying from you?
A: There are many advantages buying from The Cooking Suite. One is ease of shopping; you can do it from home. Many retailers advertise leader items to get you into their store at which time you might spend more for gas these days than the money you save. Another is no sales tax outside of North Carolina. Still another reason is many of our items are not stocked in retail outlets.
Q: Why use waterless cooking?
A: Using waterless cookware is less time consuming because it cooks much quicker and keeps flavor in the food, note in the pot. Our GOURMET STANDARD tri-ply stainless steel and copper cookware is excellent for waterless cooking.
Q: If I find something in a retail store, can you find it for me at less cost?
A: Many times we can. The Cooking Suite is always on the search for new and different items from our many resources. Of course, we cannot guarantee that because retail stores can do the same thing if they want to. You are invited to CONTACT THE SUITE with your question or request and we will return a prompt response.
